Dejah Thoris, the wife of John Carter, has been imprisoned in the Temple of the Sun, a slowly rotating prison, that is only accessible once a year, with the evil pretender goddess Issus. The last sounds that escaping the prison cell were the screams of a woman. How will John Carter free his wife, and who’s screams were last heard?
